Dr. Marcos H. Ikeda was born in Brazil and attended the University of Sao Paulo School of Medicine. In 2006, he moved to the USA and completed his residency training in OBGYN at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

His medical interests include contraception and innovative methods of Family Planning, prevention and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, infertility treatments, Prenatal care, and ultrasound in Obstetrics. He focuses in minimally invasive gynecological procedures, ablation techniques for abnormal uterine bleeding, and urinary incontinence treatments. His interests also include Sexual Dysfunction, menopause, and hormone replacement therapy.

He moved from Miami to the Rio Grande Valley with his family to practice medicine with the promise to provide the best for our community.

Dr. Ikeda is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. He enjoys playing soccer, tennis, swimming and spending his free time with his family and dog.
